SUPREMES Study: Sunphenon (epigallocatechin-gallate) in progressive forms of multiple sclerosis
The SUPREMES study investigated the effectiveness of a extract gained from green tee (epigallocatechin gallat, EGCG) on various MRT parameters, disability progression and brain performance in MS patients. This is also a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind study. This study included patients with primary or secondary chronic progressive MS. The running time was two and a half years per patient.
